General Sales Terms and Conditions for B.N.T Scandinavia AB


General

1.1 These sales terms and conditions govern the agreement between B.N.T Scandinavia AB ("B.N.T") and its customers for all products and services provided by the company.

1.2 By placing an order with B.N.T Scandinavia AB, the customer automatically agrees to these general sales terms and conditions.

1.3 If the customer already has a separate agreement with B.N.T Scandinavia AB that governs the delivered products and services, this specific agreement shall take precedence over these general terms.

 

Orders and Agreements

2.1 The customer's order is considered a binding agreement when confirmed via digital order confirmation by B.N.T Scandinavia AB.

2.2 Any changes or deviations from the order require written approval from B.N.T Scandinavia AB.

2.3 Reservation of Ownership: The ownership of deliveries from B.N.T Scandinavia AB remains with B.N.T until full payment has been received.

 

Prices and Payment

3.1 All prices include environmental fees but exclude value-added tax. For larger quantities, a special offer may be provided upon request.

3.2 The prices for products and services are stated in the currencies SEK, DKK, NOK, EUR, or USD in the quotation, order confirmation, or on the website. The customer is liable to pay in the specified currency.

3.3 Payment shall be made according to the terms specified on the invoice or as otherwise agreed between the parties. Late payment interest accrues from the due date.

3.4 Quotations are valid for 30 days from the quotation date unless otherwise agreed.


Delivery

4.1 The delivery time for products is specified in the order confirmation and follows the company's policy and availability at the warehouse.

4.2 In case of delays in delivery, B.N.T Scandinavia AB will notify the customer as soon as possible and offer alternative solutions if possible.

 

Returns and Complaints

5.1 The customer is entitled to return defective or incorrect products in accordance with applicable laws and conditions. Any complaints must be made within 8 days of receipt of the goods. Returns due to a wrong order may only be made after our approval against paid return shipping by the customer. When returning goods, a copy of the invoice must always be attached. Returns of customised goods are not accepted. If the customer returns unauthorised warranty cases, B.N.T Scandinavia AB will charge return shipping.

5.2 For warranty claims for electronic products such as Texas Instruments, Fellowes and KOBRA, the customer must always first contact customer service to open a separate warranty claim and follow the instructions provided. In the case of warranty cases involving the replacement of Texas Instruments products, the customer pays the return freight to B.N.T and B.N.T pays the freight cost of sending out a new product.

5.3 Return of goods shall be made according to the company's return policy and instructions.

Liability Limitation

6.1 B.N.T Scandinavia AB is not responsible for indirect damage or loss caused by the use of the products.

6.2 The company is not responsible for defects or damage caused by the customer's improper use of the products.


Other Conditions

7.1 The following terms apply unless otherwise agreed:

7.2 Payment Terms: 30 days net from the invoice date after approved credit check.

7.3 Delivery Terms: Orders above typically 1000 EUR net are delivered free of charge. For orders below this amount, freight charges apply. The order value limit may be adjusted by B.N.T depending on the customer's delivery address. The customer incurs additional costs for express shipping.

7.4 Custom-Ordered Goods: Freight charges apply for custom-ordered goods. There are no free shipping agreements for custom-ordered goods. For security bags, zip lock bags, and packaging envelopes with special printing, we are happy to provide a special offer.

 

Personal data and confidentiality

8.1 The customer agrees that B.N.T Scandinavia AB processes personal data in accordance with applicable laws and the company's GDPR policy. Read more about the company's GDPR policy here.

8.2 The company takes appropriate measures to protect the customer's personal data and maintain confidentiality.

 

Applicable Law and Dispute Resolution

9.1 These terms of sale are interpreted according to Swedish law.

9.2 Disputes between the parties shall primarily be resolved by negotiation. If a dispute cannot be resolved through negotiations, it shall be settled in accordance with Swedish law and the company's choice of court or arbitration board.
